Ellen N. Hoppe, CNM joined NWWC’s midwifery practice October 17, 2022.
Ellen (she, her) has been a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2018 and has a passion for helping people to achieve their reproductive and sexual health goals. She started her nursing career in 2013 working alongside Midwives at a birth center. It was there she learned about a more holistic model of person-centered healthcare. From there, she worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and had the opportunity to advocate for a family-centered approach to the stressful hospital stays each parent faced. Ellen joined Northwest Women’s Clinic after time as a Midwife both in and out of the hospital setting with specialty in promoting physiologic birth and water birth, though she enjoys having a wide array of options available to clients.
In addition to caring for people through their pregnancy journey, Ellen takes special joy in providing wellness, contraceptive, and gynecologic services and helping to find balance between medicine services and complimentary alternative therapies. She hopes to make all who come to see her feel comfortable and empowered.
In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time outdoors with her rescue dog, traveling, and social dancing.
