Hayley Thompson, MD

Dr. Hayley Thompson joined NWWC’s practice in September 2022. Dr. Thompson attended college at the University of Central Arkansas where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science. She graduated medical school in 2018 from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before moving to Denver for residency. During her residency training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, she was honored to receive awards recognizing her excellence in caring for high risk obstetrical patients and dedication to supporting midwifery care during her year as chief resident.

Dr. Thompson’s favorite part of her specialty is supporting women through pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum. She has a special interest in breastfeeding medicine and the 4th trimester. She comes from a high volume surgical residency and is a skilled minimally invasive surgeon. She loves serving the women of the Portland community!

Dr. Thompson moved to Portland with her husband, Dakotah, and daughter, Freya. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries and exploring the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
